Downtown Fort Collins isn’t just in Forbes’ top ten metros for female entrepreneurs and fourth in Fast Company’s Next Top Places for Tech Jobs, it’s got a welcoming startup community that adheres to Colorado’s give-first philosophy … and is beautiful in the winter. Fort Collins Startup Week is coming up quickly, February 1-5. Startup Summer 2016 Recruiting Startups and Interns

Startup Summer has extended the deadline for both startups and college interns to apply to be a part of the Startup Summer 2016 program to the end of March 2016. Please see below for more info on each: Startups: Would your startup like to host a top-notch intern majoring in computer science, business, or engineering? We are looking for startups in Boulder, Denver, and Colorado Springs who are interested in hosting a paid intern as a part of Startup Summer. The program runs from early June through mid-August, but interns can start earlier and/or stay later if the startup prefers. Startups can specify the backgrounds they are looking for in potential interns and we will only match you with ones that match your ideal desired skill sets. Apply now to be matched with a local startup working on cutting edge problems with amazing technology in Boulder, Denver, and Colorado Springs. To do so, apply at Students matched with a startup will receive a paid internship along with weekly programming around how to start your own company from local tech luminaries. Students are also expected to come up with their own idea or join a team to participate in the pitch competition at the end of the year.
